PTI Peptide Therapy Index
Research About

Privacy

The Peptide Therapy Index is a read-only research index. Readers do not create accounts, submit data, or interact with the site beyond reading. This page documents precisely what data is generated when the site is accessed and how it is handled.

What this site collects

Two categories of data are generated when you access this index.

Server logs. Every HTTP request to this server produces a standard access log entry: timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer header, and user agent string. These logs are retained for operational diagnostics — identifying errors, monitoring uptime — and are not processed for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. Log retention does not exceed 30 days.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4), if enabled. If a GA4 measurement ID is active on this site, anonymised usage data is collected via Google's standard analytics script: pages viewed, approximate session duration, and general geographic region (country level). No personally identifiable information is collected. GA4 data is held in a dedicated stream for this site only and is used solely to understand which research topics readers find useful — an editorial input, not a commercial one.

What this site does not collect

No account registration, no email collection, no comment system, no contact forms, no cookies beyond what GA4 sets (if active), no fingerprinting, no third-party advertising trackers, no affiliate tracking pixels. The site contains no purchase flow and no mechanism to identify individual readers.

Data sharing

No data generated by reader access to this site is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for any commercial purpose. Server log data does not leave the hosting infrastructure. GA4 data is held within the Google Analytics account operated by this index's editorial team and is not shared externally.

Opting out of Google Analytics

If GA4 is active on this site, you may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling the Do Not Track signal in your browser settings, which this site respects where the analytics implementation supports it. Disabling JavaScript entirely will also prevent analytics data from being sent.

Editorial integrity and data

Aggregate usage patterns — which research topics are most read, which evidence categories attract the most attention — inform editorial prioritisation. No individual reader identity is required for or derivable from this editorial use. The index's non-commercial stance extends to reader data: this information is not monetised.
